Technician Job Description

Overview:

Requirements

• Prior experience as an Automotive or Main Line Technician preferred
• ASE or Toyota certification a plus (but not required)
• Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team environment
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent

Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes and other routine maintenance services on vehicles
• Inspect vehicles for potential issues and recommend necessary repairs or services
• Perform a full range of automotive repairs including engine diagnostics, brake repairs, suspension work, and tire services (rotation, balancing, installation)
• Complete multi-point inspections and accurately diagnose vehicle issues
• Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer, dealership, and safety standards
• Collaborate with Service Advisors and other technicians to ensure timely completion of work
• Provide excellent customer service by clearly communicating vehicle needs and progress
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety of the service area and tools
• Document all services performed accurately in the system

Starting Pay

• $13 per hour (Entry Level/Express Technician)
